Pedal engagement is whacky... When I adjust the set screws to adjust clutch pedal engagement/travel, one quarter turn of the rod, makes the cluch have 2" of loose free play, the other way it is engaging way up at the top. When like this it heats up on rides and then slips real bad. I replaced the master clutch cylinder to no avail. I just ordered steel braided clutch cable to go down by Slave because that cable is the old original from parts car. Do you think this will do the trick, or am I missing something???

Get rid of dampener. I've heard only bad things about it since it's really hard to bleed the system.
