I just installed the clutch pedal assembly and clutch master cylinder on the car. the donor car had wires plugged into sensors or something on the clutch pedal and I'm wondering what these were and if they are important. I can't find any information on wiring for this swap other than for a convertible S13 and from the pictures I can't tell if any of it is the same or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

they are not important. i cannot remember the technical names but one is there to tell your car if the clutch is pushed in when starting and the other is for what I dont remember (cruise control i think) but you dont need them

the switches on the clutch pedal are the clutch depression sensor and the ASCD cancel switch. Neither are needed. The clutch depression circuit breaks the circuit IIRC, so leaving it unplugged won't effect the car at all. Just don'[t start the car with the car in gear (or just get in the habit of depressing the clutch)

thanks for your replyIs there still a wire somewhere that I have to jumper together? On the other side of the car? Or should it just crank right up once the engine and transmission are installed?

the only one you *need* is the one plug rewired to make the car start, the one directly under the fuse box, i suppose you *should* make your reverse lights work too, but i just haven't gotten around to it

I don't necessarily have a fuse box on the passenger side, unless I'm just blind, are you talking about the place where the wiring harness actually plugs into the ecu? If you are talking about the fuse box under the hood, I am taking that off of my parts car when I change the engine/transmission. it is already manual shift. The wiring harness on the car I am working on is toast. literally. By the way below your post it says you have a shudder? Check your driveshaft for any type of irregularity. Just the slightest thing can throw it off.thanks

There's one plug next to where your passenger side fusebox "should" be. There was a plug that connected to the park/neutral switch on the auto trans. You have to jumper that. It should be a thick white and a thick black wire going into to a two prong connector. Once that's jumpered, the car will believe it's park/neutral at all times.

There is nothing needed to be done to the ECU and plugs (hence why I didn't say anything about it).
