auto to manual swap

I am getting a free 1990 240sx with an auto. what is involved in swaping the auto for a manual. Has some one done this here? I am hoping to find a picture sequence showing me how to do this. and what parts to get off a donor car. I have all the tools to do most anything i am just trying to see if it is feasable to pull the swap.

The first thing to do is run a search in the 240SX forums here as this has been discussed more times than you have posted here.

dude I'm donig the trany swap on my 89 S13 240sx real soon let u know what happens after i do the swap from what every one tells me it's easy oh and if any one tell u the about the S14 swap it is the same thing but slightly different 1 or 2 sensors r different exhuast system also drifferent

its called periods man, use em. Everything is pretty straight foward if you have the parts, make sure you do... A little firewall knocking then install a way...theres even a nice little faq for ya if you look it up.
