Auto to Manual Swap

Hey everyone I am new here and this might be a repost...if it is please give me the link to the post. But in the next month I am going to be buying a 1996 s14. I am looking for a 5-speed but if the price is right on the automatic then I will buy it. Is it hard to convert them over? My buddies converted a 1995 civic to a 5-speed but I know that it is going to be different hence NISSAN! I am also wanting to do this myself, with the help of some people. Not really wanting to pay $1000 for parts and labor when it can be done for $500.

Also, I know that the 240's are known for the sr20's with the turbo kits...does anyone one here have an n/a motor? Just curious
