You could just hacksaw half of the pedal off or go to a local junk yard or dismantling yard for the pedals. If you do cut it, simply get custom pedal covers for it and it works fine. Flywheels are the same.

there isnt any reason to get a brand new pedal assembly from the dealer... just get one at a local junkyard, although it is a ***** to get in and out. if you are able to, just cut it down til you can fit the pedal cover on it. believe me, i did the pedal, it aint exactly easy to get to it. you have to take off the brake booster from the engine bay and take half the dash apart to drop the steering column to get it out and to get to the bolts. even then, if you don't have swivel extensions, then you still won't be able to get some of the bolts very good.

yeah, i'm doing the swap right now, and i'm just gonna cut the brake pedal with an angle grinder or something.

it's gonna be enough of a PITA to install the clutch assembly.

thanks for the info! im going to just cut it down, seems like it will be a hella lot easier. now since the flywheel is the same i take it the clutch and pressure plate are also. right?

the clutch was actually extremely easy for me... it ain't that hard. the hardest part about it is getting the damn manual transmission in.
