I did search, couldnt find any relavant information

So along with my SR swap, Mid-Atlantic Motorsports is going to swap out my auto for a 5spd.......my question

what parts am i going to need to buy?/from where?/any idea on cost?

I'm getting a redtop front clip, so i would assume most of th stuff should be there, but id like to have a backup source if need be

you need clutch petal, hardline, need to buy a decent clutch for that SR, clutch master, I think that should be about it. You should cut the manual petal down to size unless you feel like completely changing it out. Your front clip should come with a driveshaft and diff.

I'm doing a SOHC to DOHC and a auto to manual swap right now. I not done yet but really close.

This was my parts list for the manual swap.

Manual crossmember $45 shipped.Dont get the hardline, trust me. You can buy a hardline for about $30-45 is what I found. Or you can buy this: http://www.driftfactory.com/pr...=2489I bought mine from heavythrottle though. I paid $52 shipped from heavythrottle. Shipping was alot for some reason.Clutch padel assembly that came with the master cylinder (but it ended up beening bad). $45 shipped on ebay.I then got a new master cylinder from Advanced Auto Part for like $18.Also at the sametime I got the slave cylinder from them. You need the rubber shift boot and plate. You cant see it unless you remove the leather shift boot. I paid $25 shipped. You also need a leather shift boot. (get new) I haven't bought this item yet.You need the manual driveshaft, just the from piece though. They run anywhere from $50-100 I've seen. I got a good deal on mine. I got both front and back for $65 shipped ($50 for the driveshaft $15 for shipping). Also just a tip, alot of people charge like $30 for shipping for just the front. The guy I bought mine from gave me both front and back and the shipping was onlt $15. So just watch out for that. Dont get ripped off!

I think thats all so far. Just make sure you have all those things and your good to go. Good luck.

i usually swap out the brake pedal for a manual brake pedal instead of cutting the auto one down. it just looks cleaner and nicer IMO.

Just check my sig out for a more in depth look into 5 speed swapping

The rubber piece cover it up, you can't tell. Cutting it takes maybe 10 minutes.

A tip on cutting the brake padel. Take your clutch padel and measure your padel with the rubber piece off. Then remember that number. Take the rubber piece off the brake padel, measure the number you just got from your clutch padek and mark it. Then cut away. The reason why is if you dont then you have a odd sized brake padel compared to the clutch padel. Is they're differant sizes then it may mess you up if you decide to get some sparco (or other band like momo) padels. Just a tip on what I did. I dont know how many others do it but I read alot about the 5-spd swaps before I didn't it and I didn't see anything about anyone doing it like that.
