Auto to manual swap. no starter signal

Hey guys, I have a 1993 s13 auto hicas hatch. I recently finished my vh45 swap with a z32 Trans and custom harness. After installing I wired my starter up and as soon as I gave power to the harness my starter started turning over. I read I had to jump 2 wires for the key to control the signal. Well after I jumped the wires I get nothing but relay clicks when I turn the key. Any help will be awesome thank you. Pics are on this thread http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=617860

Not very familiar with the vh45, and i'm sure you probably know of this already. but have you looped the safety switch to itself? I believe its the third plug down on the right side of the fuse box.
