Auto To Manual Swap After Engine Swap, Wait Or Dont?

I want to put a KA24DE in my 1990 240SX. Replacing the KA24E. I want to have a manual transmission instead of the auto one. Should i put a manual transmission in it right now or wait till i have the KA24DE and then do the swap.

its easier to do both at the same time. less wiring.
