Now before you all jump on me, yes I have searched and know what is all involved in this.

With that said: I am not all that expiereced when it comes to working on cars(actually, besides changing oil am a complete noob) but I have been reading up plenty the past few months on the 240. Recently I was locally looking at an s13; LE, leather, alloy wheels, you know, the works. BUT, it is an auto. Now it is in the color I have been looking for(gun metal!) and about anything else I was wanting in a 240 except it is an auto. So I would like your guys advice if this would be a very complicated swap for a noob. I have a friend that has an s14 trans. I could buy and possibly have him help me with. But I am just trying to figure out if it is worth it for me.

Now around here in Iowa you don't see many 240's for sale. This is probably the 5th I've seen for sale in the past year. This is why it is looking so good to me.

So, thanks for the help guys,Jared

dude it's an easy swap. I say go for it if it's everything else you want but the auto yeah I'd say go for it. My gf's friend's looking for a 240 also, but he's so specific that I doubt he'll find his any time soon and if he does find it, then it'll be a while before he finds his. The swap's an easy one and just a few parts you gotta find. Not too bad a deal if that's all you can find.
