this is my problem i have a 1995 nissan 240sx, that im converting to manual. I have everything installed, and im using the manual trans wiring harness. i have power but no turnover. i have one 3 pin female connector that doesnt have a home and it is located by the battery termnal. this is where i got my instructions http://www.240sx.org/links/ins...p.htm Im on step 24 which states

24) Backup Lights & Starting system The top connector with two female blade connections needs to be jumpered for the car to start. The third connector down from the top uses pins 3 & 8 for the backup lights. Switch pins 3&8 using the wiring from the backup light switch on the transmission.

I dont know which connector the talking about the only free one on the harness is the 3 pin one, or are they talking about a connector from the fuse box. anyone with any info please help. Thanks you can write me at [email protected]

I believe this is the connector he is talking about. it comes off the main harness of the car [technically called engine harness]
