auto to manual, harness and all, now car won't start, please help!

ok here's the deal: auto trans car with manual trans, engine, and wiring harness. the harness runs from the ecu on the right of the car all the way around to the drivers side into the fuse box and on up into the ignition switch. the car is not equipped with the wires that tell the car to start when the clutch is mashed in, therefore it won't start. (that's my theory anyway) there has to be some wires somewhere that I can jumper or something to get this thing to start how can I fool this car into thinking the clutch pedal is mashed??

Bypass the neutral saftey switch.

where can I find the neutral safety switch?? I don't exactly know my way around a car yet, its my first engine swap

Should be a white and black wires. They should be under the relay/fuse box in the engine bay, by the trans harness. Cut the wires and twist them together. You might get a few CELs because you have a S14 but it should start.

I think I've talked to you before.. you had a pic of your maxima up before? same rims as mine? Anyway, excuse my dumbness, but what are CELs? also, do you mean under the box completely, or do I need to start taking out the rows of relays to get to the bottom of the box?thanks

CELs = check engine lights

You may have to pull the trans harness to the side and take the top portion of the relay/fuse box off to see the wires. They should be right underside of the box.

I just put mine up for sale... I haven't tried before now. that must have been somebody else. I just remember telling you I thought it was mine when I first saw the pic. did you sell it?

Might of got you confussed I had many people rain on my car sales. If all goes well it should be sold this weekend for 6300. I was talking about pulling the trans harness connectors out of the way to get a better look. You shouldn't miss the wires they are pretty thick.

btw, I went back and searched for the post you were talking about, because I remember reading it, and thinking that was a crappy thing to post on somebody's ad. It was somebody named kazB or something. Just wanted you to know that wasn't me. we talked on another occasion on another forum.

Sorry for the confussion it has been a crappy weeks so far. Think it might have been maxima.org. I had many people rain on my parade there too. I had people lowballing me 3k offers for a car that blue books at 6500.

ok, let me get this straight. I'm really sorry for being dense, do you mean in the box or outside it and completely underneath it? I went back out to the garage and looked and still did not find anything resembling that underneath the box thanks for your help, I feel like an idiot though...
