I picked up an auto 90 coupe that Im going to toy with. Its going to get a rb25det swap and 5 speed conversion. I need clutch stuff but I was wondering if it would be practical to use the clutch petal off the skyline clip. Im trying to do this cheap but at the same time not build a piece of ****. Im building it for autocross, road racing, drift. etc... If the skyline petal is too long or sits in a retarted possition then I'll just get the other ****. Also if anyone on here has a silvia or 240 front clip that they are parting out I might need the radiator support off of it. Let me know what you have.

i wonder how many people actually get the engine that they say they are going to get. ive only seen like 3 people out of like 100, but about your clutch you might just want to use the stock 240 clutch because its all bolt on.

while I haven't had a chance to flog an RB powered 240 yet, I'd be wary to say it would be a good auto-x-er. RB's add extra weight to the nose of the vehicle and ultimately upset the overall balance of the car. Auto cross is all about suspension and balance handling. It doesn't matter if your motor can pump out over 500 horses because you'll rarely use all of that. It would however, be a bit better suited for road racing, and drifting as they don't have the same tight corners that are present in auto-x. Just my .02. Oh, and sorry I didn't answer the question ^^

Im not that big of auto Xer anyway. I just want this as a toy pretty much. I need something with alot more power than the ka and the sr. My hp goal is to get 400 out of a daily driver which to my understanding is pretty practical out of the rb and less expensive than building a ka or sr20. My ka motor is siezed and was when I bought it. It is an auto and has minor damage in the front passanger side corner. I plan to do a jdm silvia headlight conversion and rb25swap. Also I plan on getting some kind of limited slip for the back.
