Again it is I, with my ned project 240 nicknamed somehow Project "Deez Nutz n' ya face" and as everything must have a problem with it for me to buy it this one does it is a damn AUTOMATIC and I need to change this.

So right now the car has no engine or transmission in because these are in the trunk and passenger seat.

So what I need is a parts list of what to buy for an auto to manual swap I would like to have this done before i get my SR20det so that I wont have to worry about it while I am doing the swap, and because a shop wanted to charge me $800, no way. So I turn to you people, because it is cheaper, though I might be able to work out a pay system of good thoughts toward people who help (incentives always help people work harder!)

So as I sit at home dreaming of twisty roads and long stretches of cop free highway I will now wait for responses thanks!

concerning the brake pedal, its easier to just cut down the automatic brake pedal with a cutoff wheel or something than to drop the steering column to install the new one, im just cutting down mine.

well today i am going to the junkyard to try to find some parts for a 5 lug and a 5 speed swap, lots of 5's.

O well if i cant find the 5 lug back hubs I will go to the nearest nissan dealer and order them from a s14 SE.

I have a guy here locally that has all the 5-lug goodies for a swap.

Look for member named 98S14inAZ, his name is Oliver.

i own a 96 auto and when i asked a shop to do the 5 speed conversion they said it'll cost around 900 dollars to do it. plus he was saying i need new ECU and this and that and on....

900 is way too much man you can do all the work yourself it is not very hard, and plus if you do an sr20det swap at the same time it all ties together a lot easier.
