for those that dont know my car was an auto and i blew my engine. im put in a built engine and i did the 5spd swap at the same time

im jsut about done getting my car running today, well was. jsut hooking some stuff up i decide to put the driveshaft in. i have the drive sahft from my parts car that did not have abs, my car does. the 5spd DS is about .5" longer but would fit. the problem is that the bracket that hold the DS up in the middle is also off about .5" if not slightly more. it would take some decent trick to get it to bolt in securely. i jsut ordered enjuku's aluminum one peice drive shaft for $469.68 shipped, but its goin to take about 2 weeks since they make it by order.

point of this thread is for anyone who wants to do a 5spd swap, which i know is many, to know what parts u need or u'll be like me and have to wait another 2 weeks to drive your car.

jsut got back from my garage. i had the DS's next to each other and noticed the AT's input shaft looked a lil larger than the MT's. i put different sized sockets in each to find that the AT's input shaft is i think the next size up in standard measure measurement maybe 2 sizes.

I heard that, if you have ABS you can use the second half which is the ABS or NON-ABS half and the first half which is the 5 speed or auto half. so in my case I'm getting the 5 speed driveshaft from a car with no abs, so I plan to take the first half of that one and keep my second half and put it on there. then it should be a 5speed W/ABS driveshaft. Could someone corect me if I am wrong.
