When you do the s15 swap there are a few things that you need to know. 1, If you swap to the 6-speed you will also need the rear end, as the speedo drive gear is not located in the gear box for the 6-speed, but in the rear diff. 2, you can use a 5-speed sr transmission with the s15 motor, if you so choose. Either way, save the speedo drive gear as it is calibrated for mph, where the sr will be calibrated for kmh (not much of a difference, but there is a slight difference). 3, swapping auto-manual isn't that big of a deal, here is a list of what you will need:1. Manual brake pedal assy.2. CLutch pedal Assy.3. Clutch master Cylinder.4. Clutch hydraulic line.5. Clutch Operating (slave) cylinder.6. I also recommend purchasing a short throw shifter, you never know if your transmission will come wiht the shift lever.

Differences in wiring:Auto: Has a Park/Neutral interlock switch and Brake pedal Interlock switchManual: Clutch interlock switch

If you want to have the clutch interlock switch, just move the brake interlock switch to the clutch pedal, don't confuse it with your ASCD Kick down switch though! For the Park/Neutral interlock, just short the contacts together. I ignored it all and ran straight igintion.

I hope this helps.

For the most part you will still need all of the parts mentioned previously. However, you will not need the rear end, as the speedo drive gear is still in the transmission on the s-14. The one thing that I forgot to mention is that you will need the manual driveshaft/propeller shaft. The automatic isn't of the right length. I would recommend going with a one piece aluminum form either EnjukuRacing.com or srswap.com. The reduction in weight is remarkable and aluminum has a higher torsion rigidity than steel. When I got mine, the spline was for an auto. An easy way to tell is to use the clutch alignment tool and insert it in the transmission end of the drive shaft, if it fits, you have the right spline. If not it isn't hard to fix once you get the right spline.

I got in really good with a Nissan salvager in the area, talk to people in your area, watch ebay for the things you need, check junk yards, and pull your own parts salvage yards for the best deals.

Performance Clutch- 250.00-450.00pedals- 25.00-100.00Master Cylinder(buy new!)- 100.00-150.00lines- 35.00operating cylinder- 25.00 (if your transmission doesn't have one)driveshaft- 100.00-450.00Lightened flywheel- 350.00-450.00+about a days worth of work

I wouldn't try and skip out on too much of this stuff, buy the best that you can afford, after all, the transmission is your interface to the engine and the power that can be unleashed. I would highly advise replacing the clutch and flywheel while the engine and transmission are out of the vehicle. I did this conversion and I am very pleased. Well worth the money.
