Hey guys,

Currently doing a swap in my 1991 240sx from auto to manual...

Got a couple questions... do any of you know where i could find a dust cover for the lever that sticks out of the transmission side,.. the slave controls the lever, and i would like to have the hole where the lever goes through covered....

Also How much of a deal is it if i use the Auto trans flywheel bolts for bolting on my new manual flywheel? i know htey are shorter, but will it make too much of a difference... I know its better to be safe than sorry, but do you guys know the specifics.?

thanks ahead..

1. Try dealership or autozone/advance auto. Dealership will most likely be able to get you one, advance auto it's hit or miss. Also try courtesy parts.

2. Get the m/t bolts, you don't want your flywheel flying off and bringing death upon your clutch, transmission, engine, car, maybe you. Haha that's not something I would want to mess with. You can get the bolts on ebay or try a bolt store near you.

Actually, i do have one more question...

Can i go to Napa, or Advance, and look for just any bolt that has the same length, head size, strip, etc....

If so, do you have the measurements?

Would it be the same as the Auto transmission bolts, except longer?

I'm not sure, I did the swap a while ago so I can't really remember what the difference was.

That's where I got mine from. The seller, askme4parts, is a good seller. I also bought the bellhousing bolts from him, you can't use the auto bellhousing bolts either.

I think you have your sensor terminology mixed up. The CAS is a form of timing control, like a distributor. I'm not familiar with the s14 transmission, but I really don't think there is a CAS on the transmission.

In fact, I'm not sure KA's had CAS's. I know the distributor on the later model KA's had more plugs, but I've never taken one apart.
