Auto to 5 Speed Conversion

whats up all!!I am new here and wanted to know if anyone as converted an auto to a 5 speed in an Altima? I have a 2001 Altima GXE and I want to race... legally and such right?! anyway please let me know where I can pick up the transmission, ECU and harnessThank you for any helpBanZI29

Ebay has some really good sales on used, low mile SR20DET Engines right now {I have a 1998, and was thinking the same thing you are ;-) }. Anyways, the sales include everything- engine, wiring harness, transmission, etc. Here's the link to one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

Best bet is to just trade/ buy a standard with low mileage.

I had a first gen, it was awesome... I now rock the 98 GXE, it has mad pull for a four banger, just go buy one, they are cheaper to buy, than to worry about all the headaches of replacing an engine/transmission.

I may have to replace my engine soon, as it has been leaking oil... but I'm trying to avoid it as long as I can.
