Does anyone know what year the Q45 stared the auto tilt mirror thing when put in revers. Was it 94 or 95. While I am at it, will the 10 cd changer from a 91 fit in a 94 with the different head unit? I am considering getting a 94 as well and just bought my 93. By the way AZhit man, the 93's black leather is unbelievable. Really nice at night too. The interior lights seem to give a nice glo off of the leather. Gosh I feel like Batman in this car. Just gotta get the grappling hook for the turns and the flames out back.

This is batMan calling Chally! Really, so they started that early huh? Do you find it to be more of a feature or a benefit. I was just wondering. The love of Gadgets on a car. I'm also guessing that it's both mirrors that tilt or is it just the Driver's side?

It's the side you select after it is in reverse gear, assuming the downward tilt has been preset and the mirror selector is neutral or selecting the opposite mirror prior to selecting the mirror you want tilted when reversing.

I'm betting Chally has a 1994.

That's right! We, in Australia, call it a 93, but you fellas call it a 94. We don't call a vehicle the next years model until it IS the next year. A lot less confusing don't you think? :D

I have the 1st release model. They arrived here in 7/93 with, supposedly, all the bugs ironed out.

As maxnix explained, the mirror tilts either side, but only if you select it after Reverse is selected.

I use it on the passenger side, mainly when backing near the kerb. It's nice not having to adjust it back after you're finnished with it. :)

A kerb is a curb that appears most frequently on the passenger side of a RH drive automobile. They also run on tyres, have bonnets and boots instead of hoods and trunks.

Wonder if Australia will ever pull a Sweden and join the rest of the world? That would leave only the UK and Japan among large industrialzed nations as RHD.

Having visited Australia, I think the rest of the world should join them!

Why, thank you 911/Q45!

There's a lot of things we follow the States at, even some are changing their spelling, but I'm pretty sure we will keep driving on the correct side of the road. :D

NB: I do wish we would follow with the fuel quality. It's a big issue here again, as a huge amount of servos are adding ethanol up to 20%. Makes the cars go really bad, not to mention the damage it's causing the fuel system.
