Auto-tightening seat belts. A little weird.

I "discovered" this feature today while testing the brakes. The belts tighten up about an inch or two. Nice safety feature, but it made me wonder what people do if they take their car out on a track day or autocross. I'm not going to be doing that, but I suppose others will. The constant cranking of the belt would become annoying on track.

I found its quite useful for spirited driving, as it holds you in place well. People who go to the track a lot also may use a seat belt with a deactivated pretensioner. Or they may like it, since you can comfortably wiggle on straights and reset your body and then be held down nice and tight on turns.
