I have an 08 G35X that does't keep a constant temperature as set. Initially the temp seems to go to the chosen temp but ater 15 minutes or so, the control switches to dash vents and blows out cold air. This happens regardless of the outside conditions (sunny, cloudy, nite, day). Anyone else have the problem and what is the solution?Thx

What temperature do you have your thermostat set to?

If you set it to auto it will change to keep it on right temperature. If the temprature is much lower then you set it too. It turns the fan on higher volume to rich the desired temperature as soon as possible.Hope this helps.

temp set to 70 and the air coming out of the vents is 58. in both summer and winter you have to change the temp or re-adjust the control. both are a pain

Hmm, interesting. That isn't normal. Does it keep it at the same fan speed and drop the temp or does the fan speed drop, too? Normally, it would just drop the fan speed when it reaches temp, then adjust accordingly, but mine doesn't fluctuate.

Maybe its confused between F and C?

Welcome!

The basic operation of the Auto ac control will adjust outlet temp and volume based on input from several sensors all over the car monitoring air temperature throughtout the vehicle.

How long have you owned your G?

I would hesitate to say there was a problem with your car at this time, the temperature will adjust one way or another depending on what the in cabin air temp sensor is saying to the AC cu.

What is the ambient temperature vs. outlet temp (desired) and actual?
