2003 stock radio seems like it's going to break soon. When I go to an aftermarket radio, is there any way to keep the auto sound level feature?

Thanks.

are you talking about the speed sensing volume? Not sure if that's a feature available in aftermarket radios...

We do have a vendor that deals with the older head decks.

So, i read that there maybe some complications if equipped with factory nav. Is there a way to keep the nav and have an aftermarket headunit?

I think the only issue is with the voice portion. call around to some car audio installers...they would be the people to ask.

I did. I talked to crutch field. They told me that when I install an aftermarket system, I have to loose the navigation, i don't understand why.... The climate and radio controls are all under one circuit board so to do an aftermarket install I have to get a dash kit that separates the controls and has an opening for a aftermarket radio.

Whatever, I guess I'll just pay for the system to get fixed or get a refurbish one. OR deal with no CD and save up for a avics nav system.
