auto seatbelts

Hello, I was wondering about the lifetime warranty seatbelt thing in the owners manual. My drivers side seatbelt track quit working. Sounds like the cable came off of the latch. Will the dealer still warranty that? Thanks in advance, Jeff

I believe yours is stil covered. have done quite a few on quests and sentras. I dont see why yours wouldnt be. just dont come to my dealer I hate doin warrenty work!!... J/P but I do hate warrenty work nissan screws us on the times.

I hear ya. Warranty work can suck sometimes. Every now and then there is a wierd glitch where they pay you way too much. Too few and far between however. Thanks for the quick reply. Maybe I can get the dealer to just order the part so I don't have to leave car there and wait. I hate having my car worked on by someone else though. So used to doing it myself.

the dealer techs will put it back together the way it was built if that makes you feel anybetter. the guys see nissans so much they could almost take a box of bolts and tell you just about where every bolt in the box goes.

I am getting to be the same way about the Rovers i'm working on(bolt thing). Still don't feel better about not being able to put the part in myself. But thanks for the try.

This Rover job I got is working out pretty good so far. Plenty of work, nice hours, and good pay. Fortunatly for us the British don't know how to keep thier vehicles from leaking fluids. Helps too that we are only dealer in town for the make.

It isnt just the british. All chevy V-8 rear main seal, altima front covers, 240 front crank seal, All nissan VG30 valve covers,ford trans pans need i go on..lol
