I just bought an 06 g35 coupe and according to the manuel it has automatic seat easy entrance and exit on the drivers side.I have tried what the book says and i can't get it to work. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't get it to work. After trying for an hour their answer is that it doesn't have it. I can't believe this. This car has all the options except nav. It also is an automatic because the dealer said originally when i called that sticks don't have it. I have checked all the infinity sights and no one mentions this option. Is their anybody here that has this on their car or is it a lie from infinity that it has it.

thanks, jeff

the sedans have it but to my knowledge the coupes have never had it.

My '05 coupe doesn't have it. I think you may have read the manual wrong or something. Unless, it is a new feature on the '06 that I don't know about but I don't think so.

Sorry.

The manual has a section for the coupe and the sedan. The sedan has a seperate switch for it.The coupe tells you how to do it with their controls. This is why the dealer can't figure it out because it shows how to make it function with the coupe, yet it doesn't work.If it doesn't have that feature than the book is wrong because it definatly says it does. You are right on the earlier years but it shows the 06 having it.Coupes with automatic only.

Are you sure your not confusing the button on the back of the seat that moves it forward? It's for rear passengers "easy exit"...If your referring to a seat memory function, then it's only an option for the sedan (03-05 not sure about 06).

I am not where I can read the manual but I agree with Joe, perhaps you are confused.

On the sedans there is the "easy exit" where you turn off the engine and the seat automatically moves back to allow you to exit.

To my knowledge this has never been available on the coupes since inception, again maybe something new for the '06 but it was my understanding the only things new for '06 was the back wing, trunk button on exterior, memory seats (not easy exit) bluetooth and keyless start.

There is an "easy exit" for backseat passengers like Joe stated, where you pull the seat back forward and then push the little black button under the seat release at the top middle of the seat back. Then it will slide forward automatically to allow backseat people to get in and out.

Perhaps I was confused ealrier. I hope that helps.

Thanks for the replys fellows.I'm talking about when you shut the car off the seat goes back and the steering wheel goes up allowing more room to exit.I think you are right that it does not have this feature but it difinitely says how to program it on the automatic coupe in my manual. The dealer even admits that it says that it just doesn't work.Oh well i still love the car anyway!

Interesting, I will re-read my manual. I must have missed that.

Frankly, my mom had the feature you are referring to on her I35 and honestly I thought it was annoying.

Everytime you get in or out it felt like a carnival ride.
