Auto RB swap

Just wondering if anyone is running an automatic rb25 or rb20 in a 240sx or if mine will be the first? Is anyone even thinking about it or planning to?

I am doing an rb20det swap right now with automatic transmission. This is going to be tricky, because I dont know how the automatic transmission is wired up. Anyone got some experience?

all i can say is....run far far away. I have a swap in my shop...a 96 accord with a 92 prelude engine and transmission, all auto. It's been 6 months...and this car WILL NOT run correctly. I want to shoot it over and over again with a large gun.

I dont mean to be a **** but there is a reason they are called honduhs right? -JK- I dont really think the rb will be that much of a pain... looking at the to trannies they look identical... i guess i ll be the test subject on this one.

hey frosted how hadr was the swap i am thinking about going with a rb20det in me 95 auto. i think i can deal with an auto trans i kinda want one to tell the truth. can you list some of the problems you had with your swap so i can have an idea of wehat problem might arise when i do it

SWAP was very easy. No differnt than swapping a 5 speed into it as long as ur car was orginally auto it be easy!
