Hello everyone, I am new to the 300zx and these forums. I cannot drive yet but I am soon to buy a 300zx. Here in B.C. (British Columbia) a N/A 300zx runs around 7,000 and a TT model runs around 12,000. Now I cannot legally drive yet but I already can drive Manual, I was just wondring what kind of performance diffrence I would see from a Automatic or a manual TT.

auto's are for girls if you intend to drag race then an auto can be beneficial, if however you decide to do any kind of racing that involves turns your gonna want a manual, and being a new driver it's better to drive a manual now and let it become second nature, if you start driving auto's now you'll have a hard time switching to a manual later

and...auto's just suck :p

Twin turbo with manual transmission is the only way to go. Once you drive one you'll understand

After driving both the Z32 and a Z32TT, both manuals transmissions, I have to say I would take the TT anyday. Granted I did not own either vehicle so I didn't have to worry about maintence (Implying TT will run you more).

Something else to consider: The Z32TT auto has smaller turbos (than the manual Z32TT) to generate boost at a lower RPM.

Good looking car!

My only concern is the non-turbo front bumper, how are the intercoolers getting airflow?

It used to have the TT front bumper on it in the first pic, and clear corners, and such. Parts were obviously swapped before you got it.

Yes I was aware of this, the original owner had tyed swapping things in and out without knowledge of the car, I can't drive the car till october anyways so in the meantime I will try and track down a TT front.
