Auto>manual Swap??

ok all this talk about auto to manual that is one thing i really want to do but i dont know anything about prices and where i could buy the materials and what all materials it involves...do you have to change out the ecu? and how much does the transmission itself cost...lastly would it be smarter to buy an engine with it like the sr20 or new ka...just trying to plan out what i want to do with my car...i would just sell it and get a 5-spd

What I would, what I'm going to do, is buy a cheap 5spd parts car, and swap the transmission over. I think thats about the cheapest way and everything you need is there

can you put a s13 5spd transmission into the 95-96 dohc?

yea the 91+ i know work not sure about 89-90. the only parts you need from an s14 is the ECU (for your year), driveshaft, and transmission mount i think, oh and shift trim is a plus. everything else is interchangable

i think the transmission bell housing is different but trannies are all the same... or i could be just way to sleepy right now haven't any sleep yet so im kinda tired..
