My passenger side window lowers a good 3/4 inch when I pull the handle. The driver's side, however, opens less than 1/4 inch... just barely enough to clear the overhang.

I looked at a new G35 on the showroom last week and noticed the drivers side window lowers the same distance mine does so I thought nothing more of it.

Then today, I looked at another G and noticed the window on the driver's side lowers 3/4 inch also.

Does anyone know how to adjust the distance the window automatically lowers? Is it a warrantable item if under 36,000 miles? Should this be a concern?

Thanks,

Nathan

While I haven't measured the actual distance, mine does lower one side slightly more than the other. That being said, I don't think it can be warranted as it still functions as it's supposed to.

I wouldn't worry about it until it starts going up/down slow. That's when a replacement window motor is usually needed
