Hi all. Pretty new to the board and just have a few questions:

Is there a setting to have the doors automatically lock when the car is engaged in drive like most vehicles? I went through the settings but did not see one that seemed to apply.

Also, each morning for the past week i have been getting different tire pressure monitor PSI's. I make sure the care is driving for about 30 seconds and then check.

I first got a low level indication on the dash (left side) and checked the monitor and all were showing 28 psi, then the next morning, same thing. Did not put any air in them and the next 2 days got 32. I understand that after the car has been on the road the tire pressure expands due to heat, but this was just driving down my street 100 yards. Not sure if it is just a variable or if something may be wrong with the ATPM.

Other than my cigarette lighter not working, I love this car 08 M35x. Absolutely love it.

Thanks in advance

Well, there is no auto lock on Ms.

May be one day you parked outside and another day inside your garage? Or the temperature was different?

Thanks for your quick reply. Wow, that is a shame about the no auto locks.

The tire pressure issue - car is parked outside my home in the same place everyday, sits about 14 hours until the next morning. I am going to take actual tire pressure readings tomorrow morning and then check them against the monitor.

I'm not sure what the weather has been like in PA, but in Chicago we've had huge fluctuations from -2 to over 50 in the last week. If you've had similar fluctuations, that would account for the difference in tire pressure.

I have cross checked the TPMS reading with a good digital gauge and never found any discrepancy.
