Auto lights with wipers?

Hello guys! I hope this isn't a repeat, but I spent about 20 minutes trying to see if this thread was already made, and didn't find one. Ok, heres my question. I was a little disappointed when I found out my auto lights do not come on when I turn the wipers on. My dads Cube SL turns the headlamps on when he turns the wipers on. I called the dealer, and they said this is normal. They said the Rogue does not have a wiper sensor, which would turn the lights on. So my question is how hard would it be to somehow wire in a wire or two to get this function to work like that. Any information would be helpful, thanks.

this is almost a non issue. to wire these two up together would be very hard, and very time consuming. its not worth the hassle.

Well also how hard is it to FORGET to turn on the lights when it rains? Its not so much about turning them on, its forgetting. The last 4 of my cars did not have auto lights, so I'm fine with turning them on. I didn't realize that Nissan would really put different auto headlamp features in all their cars. I figured auto was auto, and it should do what auto was made for all of their cars. It can be a bit disappointing when you pay for an option that you thought would do the same thing in your Cube SL, and it doesn't, just saying. I was only trying to add it if I could, but thanks for your response that seemed a bit rude.
