auto KA-T

i've searched, but i couldn't find as much info as i wanted... Is there any lag at all with KA-T automatics? I'm actually a fan of GEO's ride, and wanted to know more about KA-T automatics, since I intend on a KA-T project in the summer after I've learned more about KA-Ting a auto...

the most lag is during a launch with a stock auto. they have a lower stall speed so you cant power brake too high. higher stall torque converter and you will be launching better than manual cars

durning cruise if you floor it, and it drops a gear theres instant boost like a manual car

mainly the launch sucks with stock auto

what does lower stall mean? can you just add a higher stall torque converter and your good to go?

I will vouch for the launch having about a bit of lag.. Unless you power brake and keep the wheels from spining, you will get aliitle bit of lag. Now this is good tho, since you won;t be breaking any traction and you get going before the wastegate opens. Which is good thing.. hahah... But if your crusiing and you punch it to amke ti down shift.. instant boost.. and boost untill you let go of the gas at 120mph.. ;-)

automatics are sexxy , too bad i gave all mine away after i swapped a 5 speed in . and i gave all my stalls away too like 4 of them cuz nobody wanted them back then .
