Love the auto headlight feature on my 2011 Rogue SL. However I notice that during the day with bright sunlight it sometimes fails to turn the headlights off (or keep them off during daylight conditions) but never fails to turn them on in low light or night conditions. Anyone else notice this??? It seem to be an intermittent occurrence so it's not a big deal but it's strange that even with bright sunlight sometimes it turns the headlights on and other times it turns them off.

If its anything like the murano you could adjust the sensitvity under the setting tablet.

But up the dash the sensor is like right by twetters up front. Keep it clean from dust and don't block it.

I actually believe that the Sensor is on the back on the rearview mirror. do you have anything hanging off of it that could be blocking the sensor behind it?

hmmm...maybe its the fast lane transponder since it is behind the rearview mirror but the lights do not turn off even after I pull out of the garage and head out onto the highway where the sunlight is then coming in from different angles. Again this is not happening every time so it is hard to troubleshoot. I'll change the position of the transponder and see if that has an effect. Thanks again!
