auto headlight with hid

after hid conversion, do you guys put the light switch on auto or do you just turn it off and on manually?

They work just like regular headlights, unless you get a s*** set of ballasts that don't fire with the auto on feature. You don't have to run a switch or anything, they plug in to where your factory bulbs plug into.

Some cheaper/crappy kits may not fire with the auto-on feature. Personal experience, mine work fine (cheap 60 dollar ebay set), your mileage may vary.

I usually just turn them on manually anyways, I rarely use the auto on.

I turn mine on and off manually but thats cause I like to drive with my headlights on during the day and my audi lights at night.... To attract more attention of course :-)

Manually because 1) I park inside a garage and 2) I drive through a lot of underpasses, so I don't want the lights to turn on/off too often, to quick.

I usually turn them on during the day, but if I turn my car on at night and they auto turn on I don't turn them on again manually.

Lol no not only at night but that time when its just getting dark and everyone is driving with there headlight... Im rocking the audi lights lol

I have a lot of lights and I keep my parking lights on so people can see behind me, so im not a complete a$$hole
