Auto Headlight Switch

The auto headlight switch is a nice feature but I do not want my headlights to stay on for 180sec (full 3min) after leaving the car, Does anyone know of a way to change this time setting. Section 2 of the user manual only states that the headlights can stay on for UP TO 180sec but does not give any more info.

There is no way to change the headlamp timing yourself.

However, the dealer can change it using the Nissan CONSULT diagnostic tool. Just ask them about it the next time you take it in for service. Adjustments are covered under warranty for the first 12 months or 12,000 miles. IMHO they should not charge you for this.
