Auto Engine harness into manual car

I have an engine harness from an auto transmission car that im wanting to use in my 92 240. My car is a manual transmission so all the body wiring is set up for that. I also have the lower engine/trans harness from a manual. Will the auto harness work for me? Theres a couple of extra plugs for the auto trans controller, but if I leave them unhooked i shouldnt run into any major issues right? And if there are known problems does any one have a solution? thanks.

Yea it should work (if an auto harness can work with a car that had a manual swapped in, why wouldn't it work on a car that was originally a manual?) You'll just have some extra plugs you wont be needing.

same problem here. I have an S14 Manual and the harness is shot. Ive got an auto harness, but will I need the auto ecu as well??

might as well use it, gets rid of the speed cut-out

i know that but will the manual ecu still be able to function correctly with the auto harness?
