for some reason my car runs like crap with the MAF pluged in. Unplug it and it goes into default mode and revs to 2k. I check the ecu code and its giving me 12 and 54.

12 MAF sensor circuit54 Auto signal to ECU ? ? ? I have checked and double checked the maf wires and it seems to be right. The car just dumps alot of fuel with the maf pluged in and it's killing me. The fumes anyway. It won't rev out with the maf pluged in only goes to 4k sputers and falls on it's face.

Yeah it's the right one, I have been whoring it out to my friend with a RB25 swap. I found the problem lol. It seems that one of my Intrcooler pipes blew off when I floored it yesterday night. Haha freaking dumb me looked at everything but that 1st.

well. if the car was originaly auto but has been converted to 5spd, then its always going to be throwing the auto code.dont worry about it tho, shouldnt hurt much.
