yes but you have to ground the (automatic) signal wire. it's posted on skylines down under.com

You have to ground the neutral switch (pin 44?) I think it was, otherwise the timing and idle will always be off.

I did it on mine and it helped.

Find the link on skylinesdownunder forums, the guy who posted the useful info goes by the name Dak on there I think...because you have to set your timing after doing this because it will be different. On an automatic rb, the timing is done when the car is in neutral, not park, and it changes timing by 5 degrees.

well i did the wire ground and my idle came down to the normal level. i decided to retard the timing a hair to 13btdc and now it dies after a hard boost and throttle close sometimes but oh well lol

Hey, I'm back to using the auto ecu. I actually went ahead and hooked up the neutral switch and that takes the place of this "mod". When I put the car into gear now, the timing changes and the idle air controller works better. If I come to a stop by just pressing in the clutch and brakes while cruising, the car comes down to a nice idle. If I do that, but put it into neutral at the same time, the car stalls. The neutral switch does help things out...when the car is in gear it changes something so that the car doesn't want to stall. So, if you have the know-how and the neutral switch on your manual trans, you can wire it up and have it work properly.
