Auto ecu in manual s14

I have a 98 s14 auto and I am planning on doing the SR swap in the future. Right now I am focussed on a 5spd swap and was wondering if anyone was running the auto computer on a 5spd swap? I am curious about drivability and MIL lamps.

I know of 2 people with the auto-manual swap the ecu works fine, the cel does appear though for one guy. The other I can't remember if it does.. no big deal though if your going sr in the future having the cel on. If you sense something wrong with the car then check the ecu for codes.

i personally have done the 5 speed swap on my 95 and yes the auto ECU will work. i have had it in and still have it in because from my knowledge you are allowed to create more power with the auto ECU if you are just looking for gas Millage then put the manual ECU in there.
