I am installing a BlendMount mount for my Valentine-1 radar detector in my 2010 G37 convertible. This unit gets the power for the detector by tapping into the wiring that goes to the auto dimming mirror. The mirror includes wiring for the Home Link system. The mirror has three wires entering it: a green, a black, and a brown.

Does anyone know the functions and electrical current state of each of these three wires? Which is the ground? Which is positive when the ignition switch is turned on? And what is the function and electical current state of the third wire?

Thanks.

Michael

I believe pin 6 is 12v switched ignition, pin 10 is 12v positive and pin 8 is ground.

You can always check the FSM (link in my sig) to verify the wiring.
