hey, i really dont feel like hittin up another junk yard for a drive shaft. its hard to find one around here. I was just recently informed that you can use the auto's drive shaft for the 5 speed, but you have to have it cut down?is this true?does anyone know how much needs to be cut out?

also, is there any other clutch pedels that work besides the 240's???thanks

I doubt you can just cut the shaft and weld it back together...if thats what your thinking. The shafts are balanced.

If you need a manual drive shaft I have one lying out in my shop that I'll sell. Shipping won't be cheap, but I'm willing to work something out.

I think you need rear half. You can use front half from the auto drive shaft. You can get the measurement from someone and modify it, but you have to pay for welding and balancing...etc. I think you better get the rear half from S13xCrazy and be done with it.

As far as clutch goes, I don't know. Don't make things too complicated. Just get the right one and install.

If you want to go the cheaper way you should find a used 5-speed drive shaft locally but if you want a nice upgrade you could get a one piece steel drive shaft from somewhere like The Driveshaft Shop ( http://www.driveshaftshop.com/pdetail.php?pid=185 ). You can also source a s13 clutch pedal either here on the classifieds but most folks that are selling them are selling the complete 5-speed swap or you can find them on eBay sometimes... like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...oriesOr you could buy a brand new clutch pedal assembly from Nissan. Here is a link to CourtesyParts.com for the clutch pedal: http://www.courtesyparts.com/2....html

Hope this helps out.

if anyone needs a brake pedel, let me know. i have one from a 5 speed that i dont need...i have way to many parts actually. i shall post them in the FS spot.

hey so about that drive shaft...as long as i could use the front half from a auto than all i would need is the rear half. would you be willing to sell me just the rear half?Im sure this would bring the price for shipping down a ways

where abouts do you live also, maybe i would just pick it up myself?

Sure, I'll sell you just the rear half -- no problem there.

Shoot me an offer at [email protected], No idea what half a driveshaft goes for so just get me an offer.

I can get it shipped out as soon as you need it. I want it out of the shop anyways.

I live in Dousman, WI 53118. Seems like a long haul just to grab half a driveshaft LOL, but you can if you really want! Shouldn't cost too much to ship.

If he backs out, I'm interested in the whole shaft
