Only M30 owners I know are two cats and an antelope. Don't personally know any "real people" with them though.

Ya wouldn't believe what a GM 454 big block does for ya!

Frankly, the Q's engine quite enough, just enjoying high speed run up north on I-25, with speed usually between 100-125 all the way! And, 20 mpg!

Wanna buy an M30 vert??????????????????

Congratulations! These cars are getting rarer and rarer, all the time! I have found the Nissan V-6 to be extremely reliable, and parts can be sourced from other than an Infiniti dealer, saving you money. My convertible still has the original top, but I just had the front seats redone, but not in leather, due to the exhorbitant cost, going with vinyl instead. You definately will not see yourself coming and going in it, with somewhere less than 8,000 brought into the US, I believe, with about half being converted by ASC into convertibles.

Enjoy!

I am having issues keeping the OEM radio working, is why I am looking for someone who has had the same issues. Yours are just beginning!

hey these m30s are like a ghost... u might see it out of the corner of ur eye but when you go and look at it its gone. the v6 is a good engine but the prob with the m30 is that the exhaust studs break in the head an the only way to fix it is to pull the head. or they get run like that for way too long and before you know it theres a warped head.mine should be comming back from the dead soon so keep ur eyes open.

I just recently picked up a 91 M30 with a tick over 160K miles, unfortunately the timing set the previous owner had installed, was done by some billy bob with an impact wrench, and they over torqued the crank bolt, snapping the crank snout off within a month of the service. I picked it up for $300, and other than the motor and right rear shock, it's in great shape for the miles.

He's a legend on f31club.

I love the M30. So I do the best I can on here and F31club (moderator).

Info for m30s is rare, but so is anything for it as well.

Many people pick it up thinking they can build the next 240, but I've seen people lose interest in them so quickly because they know its not what they expected. Its why I tell people pick up hte M30 for the M30, not because a couple s13 stuff works.

To find real enthusiasts of the car is really rare. I have contacted F31 Leopard members in Japan, and the following is the same as here do to the car's unpopularity.

But our common ground here in the US and in Japan as well as places, such as Australia, Europe, and even Russia, has made all the M30 owners, more personal and more like comrades... if that makes sense.

I just bought a 1991 M30, hard top. $500. 130,000 miles.

Runs good at times.... then it starts sputtering at high rpm.

I haven't figured out why yet, MAF sensor maybe? Any thoughts?
