I haven't been autocrossing for a while now. I'm looking to get a new helmet. I forgot what rating is required? I know its SA2000 for drifting but what about autocross can you use a Snell M2000 rating? I think M2000 is a motorcycle rating or something. I wanted to get a helmet that i could use in both type events

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the M is for motorcycle. I'm sure if you got an autocross helmet, it would be ok for drifting.

I recently got a SA2000 bell SRpro helmet, $250. Any SA2000 helmet should be good for track use until 2010 (unless they change the rules). Spend a little extra and get the added safety. How much is your head worth to you?
