Not quite a Rogue owner yet..... cos I'm in Australia, and the first demo rogue/X-Trail will only roll off the boat next Monday.

Dunno if there will be any difference between the US Rogue and the Australian X-Trail, but I've booked a test drive late next week......

I've been watching and reading lots of reviews on the US version, and I really like it as compared to the CRV & Rav4 which are my other considerations.....

These are the reported specs and prices (costs more here :frown: ) of the Aussie 2014 Nissan X-Trail

I'm now driving a 3.8l V6 Mitsubishi with sequential sports shift which I use a lot....... Never driven a vehicle with CVT transmission before...... Hopefully I will still be keen on purchasing one after the test drive.....

Excited !!! :chuckle:

:welcome:

There's some body styling differences, partially due to local laws. For example the US doesn't require side turn signal lights or rear fog lights, the latter which necessitates a different bumper. Interior wise, I suspect the two models will be similar, although the US models seem to get far fewer options. Ditto for the engines. A number of US owners have wished to be able to get a diesel power plant, but that will probably never happen.

The CVT takes some getting used to, and if your local Nissan dealership has any type of CVT vehicle in stock, you may wish to take it for a test spin to see if it's your cup of tea.

Good luck and keep us updated!
