aussie intake?

found this. looks pretty crazy. anyone have ideas where it came from?

I've seen some carbon fiber intakes like that for civics, but nothing like that for the RB's...If I remember right, they were like $1500 bucks for a civic, and it was only about 1/3rd the size.

id take that design in some kind of metal.

...then overlay it with carbon fiber stickers

The AIR crabon fiber intake manifolds for hondas are around $2000. I have an intake manifold kinda like that for sale for an rb25. made of sheetmetal tho.

only pic i haev right now. used the stock head flange and stock runners but it comes with them already attached. also has the velocity stacks inside the plenum. never tryed to use the stock throttle body with it, but it might work. the one i am running at the moment has the 90mm throttle body on it. uses all stock sensors. I had this made for me and for some reson i had 2 made

i only have one of these tho, and dont know if i can even get anotherone

Yeah, looks like your run-of-the-mill Wasabi/eBay special. Nice welds and finish though.

i had it made to replicate the veilside intake mani. I still have the CAD instructions/blueprint for it if anyone wants to give it a try. now that i look at it, it prolly would have been alot cheaper just to buy that ebay thing and changed some stuff around......

The carbon one is made here in NZ. the others are Chinese.I'd like to see you CAD instructions for a cast flange and cast runners, along with cast plenum. :MADE IN CHINA.. have about 5 of them EXACTLY like the one you 'had made for you' in stock at the moment.
