well, its really radiation shearing electrons off the top layer of the atmosphere but im not here to argue :)

I want to go back to alaska to see those lights in the winter, its a regular occurance then...

I remember we were supposed to see them down here last winter. Some freak shift in our magnetic field.

Beautiful stuff...keep posting those pictures, my backgrounds are rotating weekly now:D
