Audio Through USB question/problem

I spent a long time researching this but no answer so far.

I have a 2013 Rogue with the Bose (ew, they said I couldn't get that trim level WITHOUT it) system and ran into an issue using USB audio through it. iPhone, iPod, Fiio, generic thumb drive, memory cards etc

The XM radio would play some deep bass lines as would a CD but the moment you plug anything into the USB (MP3 and lossless) the bass all but cuts out.

The back woofer is still going but at 1/4 the volume as it would with any other source. Like, what's up?

It should be the same on any source but Bose seemed to EQ'd the crap out of the USB line. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Check your iPhone and turn of the EQ under the music menu. As for the other usb sources i don’t know.

Either its some wires that went bad or the USB connection port itself is bad. I'd suggest you take it to a local audio system professional and see if they can find out what is making the issue and have it fixed.
