Audio Text problem - 2007 M35

When I set up my system to display Audio Text, it comes up correctly, but, on the next song, everything refreshes except the artist's name. That stays the same until the next time I change the screen back to Audio Text from something else. When using the Status setting on the display, the artist's name displays correctly and changes when the song changes. (I have only been using XM, so I don't know if it would behave the same way with AM, FM, or CD.) The problem is repeatable. (I hoped it would go away when I restarted the engine. Maybe I have to disconnect the battery.)

Has anyone else seen this behavior on their cars?

Having same issue--must be software problem. I am using XM also and will see the artist's name not change. Curious if you find a solution.
