Anybody got pic of their audio setup?I'm looking for ideas, and I don't know how big I want to go, or how well I could mount a pair of subs (10s?, 12s?) in my trunk. I REALLY hate it when people just throw a box in the back of their car and have it sliding around .Right now I've got a Pioneer 3700 (50x4), but I'm still speaker shopping. It's got 2 dual channel pre-outs, but I don't need amped mids and tweeters with 50 watts... Still, recommendations for subs, and how you mounted them would be nice. Thanks.

What kind of car we putting it in?If it's a hatch I can help you greatly on making a box for ya.I like the kicker line up and for you 2 12'' comps should suit you along with a 600watt amp.Comp's rms is 150 so no-name amp will be about half what it says.run you about $140 for subs 30-40 for a box 30 amp wiring kit and whichever map you get.Let me know your budget and your goals. Also If mod reads this move to car audio forum.Hopefully he can find it.

I'm looking at under $300, until my next paycheck comes...

I have the Nakamichi CD-300 head unit, a 2ch Tube Driver amplifier, and CDT Eurosports component speakers.

For subs, I'm using the JL 10W2V2 sub with a JL 600W class-d amp.

If you have this setup in an S14, it will sound nice - good midbass, sweet and not too harsh highs, and tight lows.

2 12's is extreme overkill for 4 nonamped speakers. All you will ever hear is bass. Get 1 12 and a suitable amp to power it (more money does NOT equate better sound, contrary to popular belief) and some good pioneers in the doors/back and you'll be golden. Too many people around here put boom in the trunk, crank the volume, drive down the street going BOOM cracklecrackleticktick BOOM etc cause they forgot what a crossover was.
