Have pioneer 650 with Hifonics Brutus 1500 watt amp powering 2 Infiniti Kappa Perfect 10.1D's. For the 4x6's in the front and rear, I'm using Infinity Kappa 462.5cfp's and for highs, I'm using Kicker R25 tweets. Not the best but I think it sounds pretty good for what I spent on the system. Need to upgrade to an Alpine HU though.

Right now I have the Alpine 9813 head unit and Alpine Type-S 6.5's all around. The best part about the new Alpine's is the time correction feature, which makes a huge difference. Tomorrow I am picking up my Infinity BassLink, so I can fill out the sound in the car with some bass.

You can see my sig for my setup; it's OK, not great. There's awful bass response/loudness with the stock fastback 4x6 all around setup, so the sub was added. Midrange now sucks, compared to what I would like, and hopefully a set of CDT CL-61A speakers will take care of that issue . . . those are just my recommendations. :-)

alpine 9813 with stock speakers still with the amplifier in place. They sound like they will blow up. I am going to get some speakers soon. :)

1) Fronts are 4x62) Same3) Yes, you have to take the door apart, but it's stupidly easy - 2 screws, some pop-clips, and the whole panel is off. From there it's only 4 screws holding the speaker in place, and you're done.

Hey guys, come check out the Car Audio Forum. Lots of good stereo talk and there's a great thread about adapters for the doors in the 240.

i'd like to know what you think about that basslink after you've driven around a few days.

i want some bass, i'm really overworking my 6.5s in my s14, but i want to keep most of my trunkspace. i'm thinking about getting a basslink.

pioneer premier HU powering... dare i say it... stock speakers... but i also have 2 RF 801s amps that ill be hookin up to a dual 4 RE XXX 15 in another week or so.... im thinkin the 1700 watts RMS are gonna not only drown out the speakers but also destroy the alternator... but most of my driving is just around town where i wont be blastin too loud so ill just cross my fingers...

Hehe I've got a bit of an excessive box in the back, but the system sounds gorgeous...Kendwood MP3/CD Player, Single 12" Adire Audio Shiva Sub, powered by a JBL 600.1. I'm working on getting in a pair of components Kappa 6.5"s in the front, not sure what I'm gonna stick in the back yet, also not sure what 4 channel I want.
