Whats up everyone. I got a 95 Q45.the problem im having right now is with my audio system. Everything on the entire car works fine except my speakers. My subwoofer works fine. my Deck works fine. all the Fuses are fine. all my wires seem fine, no bad connections from the car to the CD deck. Anyone have any ideas or what i should try? ive tried different decks in the car and the same thing happens. it was working fine before, but not sure why it doesnt work now. Is there a relay or fuse i dont know about? could it be the Pre-amps to the speakers? all of the Pre-amps? anyways hope someone can help me out.

I put in an Alpine deck, which works perfectly fine in my other car, so i know thats not the problem. and just to make sure that wasnt the problem i tried 2 other decks in the car that i know work perfectly fine too.

the speakers have always worked fine since ive owned the car.

I am using the stock speakers, they havent been touched at all.

The only wiring i did was to put my subwoofer in, which is the only thing that works. when like a CD is put in and is playing, the only thing you hear is my subwoofer. The subwoofer was put in when i first got the car, so know that isnt the problem, or thats not whats causeing it, because its been working fine the whole time.

The only amp i added was for the Subwoofer.

The only thing i did, was take out a DVD player that was haveing problems and was kinda dying, to put it back to my Apline deck that i had in the car before. just a basic unplug one and plug in the other. No wires were changed or cut. nothing was spliced or pulled out. all the connections are fine.

anyways hope this helps...

No harness adapter?

You realize the the Bose speakers are auto amplified and equalized?

Are you aware that the G50 Q45 used an "amp on each speaker" set up? You can't send "speaker level singlas" to the low level input of the amps that are piggy backed on each speaker.

If you did not use a Nissan/Infiniti Bose specific harness or some how "wire" the RCA's to the signal wires of each amp/speaker, you will not get nay working sound ... as there's nothing turning the amps one, even thought you're sending more than sufficient signal to them.

Hope that helps.

Test your speaker and wiring all at once. Hook up a known good speaker (any cheapo will do) in parallell on one/all of your speaker's terminals. If the speaker works, then it's not your wiring... you'd have to suspect the speakers themselves.

Personally, I suggested running new wires directly to the speaker terminals, bypassing the amps.
