What did you do to mount the 6.5" in the doors.. IIRC aren't these 4x6 from the factory? I tried some 6.5" in the past but they were too deep so I ended up getting some second hand4x6's.

Just bought mine, I usta do audio design, this is a tough car to keep light but get loud.
So I'm doin 6.5 perf kappa in front, and haven't decided if I'm going to do 6.5 or 5.25 3ways in rear, cuz I'm cutting rear putting 2 10s alpine type r, building box to where whole trunk is acting as the box so I don't have toobuild a huge box, turning the trunk into a true bandpass. Silicone around trunk with some sound deadening material so trunk doesn't rattle and everything will be loud in the interior and it will sound clean outside, once I finsh it and get it lookig perfect I'll post pix, and help anyone with coupes do same or do all work for them if they come to nashvlle or, may-June Sarasota fl. I'm only level one certified in car audio. But audio is my thing. Ugh I can't wait too have it finished

Going to have the 6x9s mounted in the little armrest/cavity in the back seat this summer. Also plan to build a dock into the ashtray. Might clean up the amp wiring too.

HU: Alpine deck(will change to double din kenwood tv if it remains a street car)
FRONT: NT Power 6.5 components (You have prolly never heard of them but they bought the rights to make MB Quarts and use the exact same materials)
REAR:NT Power 6.5 Components
AMP:---------
SUBS:--------

I havent finished or figured out if I will finish the sub enclosure. I might do it just to throw in when Im cruising but Idk yet.lol. I fiberglassed a box for 4 10" subs. I was thinking of using the Kenwood excelon shallow mounts. I would have sufficient space in the box for 4 of them and I put 2 in a truck once and that thing pounded. I Will be dynomating the full interior of the car after I finish with the welding and painting work. If you haven't heard of NT Power, I would look into them. They are a Chinese company that bought rights to make the exact same speakers from MB Quarts. They sound amazing and are a fraction of the price. Since I worked at a car audio shop, I got mine for 25 per pair. You can look in the crossovers and see the caps still say MB Quarts on them. Def. a good decision. Here is a pic of the box. I will try and get some of the speakers tonight

Im a big fan of having a good sound system, and since i took out the back seats i thought id try my hand at some random interior work and see what everything looks like, and I just finished today (the deck will go in when everything else is done since its a piece of cake anyways). Granted some people might not like it, but behind the GTR seats and harness bar its not really gunna be that noticeable and it'll sound great. Enjoy!

Mine is kinda....ehhhh. I need to do something with the trunk and maybe get some new speakers, idk. I was thinking a fiberglass setup. I kinda want to rewire everything and pull out the wimpy stock wires. Sounds fine and everything but it COULD be better. But I'd rather have a turbo setup. :)

-Alpine CDA-105
-Ipod cable in glovebox
-Sony Xplods
-6.5 up front
-6x9 in rear.
-MTX Eliminator Setup (ported)

Idk why some of you guys have two woofers. Mine is more than PLENTY and two would just be ridiculously loud.

Have nothing else to do with my back seat really. There's adjustable sub settings on the deck, im not too worried. ;)
